Warning: Cat Butt, Possibly NSFW

We start with flowers because they are beautiful to look at, unlike cat butts.

(Apologies for the lousy picture quality.) Look at how flat Summer is. She melts into the table.

She melts into the table because her legs are not properly tucked under. Summer never tucks anything under. Weren't we all specifically taught not to sit like this?

If you are scarred by the Cat Butt, take another look at the flowers. They are my Unicorn Chaser for you.

Ahhhh, Summer, you are a breath of fresh air. Prim cats with front feet perfectly placed with hinders equally symmetrical and barely showing, tail tucked carefully around are so very common.

Summer seems like a delightful cat! And your garden sounds like its coming along, don't forget gardening is a life long learning process! When I lived in Saskatchewan we had clay soil - the standard remedy there was lots of peat. Compost should do the trick nicely.
And thanks for the comment - so nice to hear from you.

I love Summer and her flat fat cat butt. She's like my Cuppy - well, "Cupcake" if we want to be proper about it. Until recently, Cuppy weighed about 20 pounds. She was like that all her life. And she never sat "right" - there was always one rear leg splayed all the H all over the place, because she was too fat to tuck everything in properly. Now she's 17 years old and - I hate to say it - dying. She has a sarcoma on her back. Probably too hard on her to surgically remove it, especially since the vet says it will just grow right back. So, we are watching her go downhill, get older and older right before our eyes. She weighs about 12 pounds now (I'm estimating). We just want her to be happy and comfortable. When she seems to not be enjoying life anymore, we will have to let her go, rather than suffer. Okay, yikes, I'm babbling on and on way too much. Just really wanted to say your butt photos are adorable! :)

Oh Morna, I feel for you and Cuppy. She's lucky to have an owner like you, caring for her comfort.

By the way I love your avatar. Is that a doll you made?

Warmest wishes for you and Cuppy,
Anne
